Bump City Bakery

We specialize in decadent gluten-free and vegan sweets, on a mission to provide dessert and breakfast options for your whole family, regardless of food sensitivities or dietary choices. Our baked goods are made in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, and about 50% of our products are also vegan. Please see our menu pages for details on our cookies and cupcakes.

Bump City Bakery was founded by Emily Floyd, a fish biologist with a passion for baking. Emily developed a love of baking, and a serious sweet tooth, making pies and cakes with her grandma in Kansas. She uses her kitchen like a lab, using her science background to concoct vegan and gluten-free goodies that you would never suspect are vegan and gluten free.

And what, you ask, is the significance of Bump City? Bump City is a nickname for Oakland, where Bump City Bakery was founded. The name imparts the funky spirit and mellow vibe found in Bump City Bakery's location and baked goods, which include both comforting cookies and saucy sweets based on cocktails from the neighborhood bar. We have since moved the bakery to Petaluma, CA, where we are finding the same unique spirit and goodwill that we felt in Oakland. We are excited to be a part of the North Bay community!
